Enter the glamorous world of female style.

A list hair guaranteed

Ever wondered how celebs almost never get caught out on a bad hair day? Even when they’ve just stepped out of the gym, they still look more tousled sexy chic than half drowned rat. (That’s just us.) So aside from regular blow dries and expensive treatments, how do these stars keep their locks looking glam?

According to stylists everywhere, the secret’s in the cut. Whatever your face shape and personal style, there’s a cut to suit every girl- and turn her into a red carpet ready.

Which hair style should you go for?
Long face

If you’ve got a long face, avoid long straight styles with a centre parting, they’ll only elongate your face. Like Sarah Jessica Parker, if you want a long style opt for curly hair with volume or add a fringe to give shape to your cut. If you’re opting for a short hair style, consider going for a chin length bob- it adds width to your face.

Round face

Girls with round faces should avoid short bob cuts, as it will add to the effect. Long cuts will work well on you, especially if you add texture with some sexy layers. Gentle waves are ideal for creating a soft, pretty look and these can be created with any Braun Satin-Hair styler.

Square face

Adding layers to your haircut will make square faces appear less angular, softening the overall look. You should try blow-drying your hair for extra volume and to keep your locks looking floaty and shapely. Try to avoid blunt ends and sharply cut fringes, they’ll be too harsh for you face shape.

Heart shaped face

If you’ve got a heart shaped face like Reece Witherspoon, long styles with side swept fringes will look stunning on you. Using the Braun Satin 7 Hair Straightener to perfect your look, you’ll be ready carpet ready in no time. (Even if you don’t have the invite yet!) If you’re after a short haircut, a choppy look will also work well on you, but don’t let your hairdresser cut your fringe too short or create bouffant curls!

Oval face

Lucky you- oval faced girls can get away with almost any style. That said you might want to opt for layered styles with a gentle side fringe rather than poker straight locks. They’ll add more shape to your face and give the illusion of more width.
