He’s talented, charismatic, blessed with model looks, and his acting career is expanding at a phenomenal rate. Kenichi Matsuyama’s success is more than impressive. Fans and accolades gravitate towards the movie star. So it’s no surprise he attracted the attention of Braun, to become an ambassador of Braun Series shavers.

Kenichi Matsuyama was born in Mutsu, Aomori, Japan in 1985. He made his debut as an actor landing a small role in the NTV drama Gokusen as Kenichi Mori. A year later he debuted on screen in the movie Bright Future. He played Shin in the 2005 movie Nana. But his major breakthrough came in 2006 with Kenichi’s charismatic performance as “L” in Death Note and Death Note: The Last Name.

Kenichi also played an array of roles like the shy death metal rocker in Detroit Metal City and the young guy that falls in love with an older woman in Don’t Laugh at My Romance. More recently, he captivated audiences with his outstanding performance in Norwegian Wood.

With 10 awards and nominations including Best New Actor and Best Actor, the rising star is used to picking up shiny things. He is also a big fan of stylish things, like the eye-catching design of Braun Series shavers.
