Active Positioning System

Active Positioning System
  • with interactive torso
  • guides you to correct measuring position
  • for accurate results

An exact measuring position at heart level is essential for an accurate result. 83% of physicians see a problem in the fact that different values could be received due to different measuring positions. Even a small difference of only 10 cm can significantly impact your result. For instance, if you keep the monitor 10 cm too low your reading will be 8 mmHg too high. Therefore, Braun has developed the Active Positioning System.
Active Positioning System The interactive torso guides you step by step to find the correct measuring position close to heart level for an accurate result.
  1. Blood Pressure should be measured at rest in a sitting position
  2. Fasten the appliance on the slim side of your bare forearm. Due to the EasyClick Cuff, the appliance adjusts automatically to your wrist.
  3. Press the red I/O (on/off) button.
  4. Put the arm with the appliance on the other upper arm as shown. Slowly move the hand upward along the upper arm. Move your hand up or down according to the direction of the arrow shown.
  5. The position sensor icon and a beep confirm that you have reached the right measuring position. The measurement will start automatically. When the measurement is complete, a beep will sound again, and the reading is displayed.
