As the ear is easily accessible there is no need to undress your child or to keep it calm for a minute or even longer - as might be the case with traditional glass or digital thermometers.

The Braun ThermoScan Compact provides you with a very gentle way to take the temperature in the ear and render an awkward rectal temperature reading unnecessary even when measuring the temperature of small children and babies.
