Square face
If you have strong, square jaw line with an equally square forehead, you may have no trouble with resolutely getting what you want – and if that’s a great hairstyle, you should go for looks that underline the beauty of a square face.
Go for:
Short to medium-length styles with wispy layers around your face and some wave or roundness will bring out the softness of your facial features. Part your hair on the side with a swept-away fringe for an asymmetric look that provides a great balance to the natural angles of your face. The best companion for square features is curls.
Better avoid:
Square geometric cuts or long straight hair may make your square face appear overly hard. So do styles with partings down the middle or straight bobs ending at the jaw line. If you want to let your hair grow and are currently in the “jaw line bob” stage, add some volume and softness by curling your hair with a Braun curler.
