Cooking in a team: Fun for all
Cooking is better than every movie program. Especially when you're in the kitchen with your partner, a friend or a whole team. To keep everyone happy, it's important to divide the work fairly. Below, we show how that works best, so that the collective effort results in a truly fabulous meal.
Too many cooks spoil the broth. So the old saying goes, but it isn't always true. If everyone has a defined task and trusts each other, cooking in a team is real fun. After all, that's what professional cooks do too. And we can adopt a tried and tested kitchen rule from them:
Select your chef
First of all, one of you is appointed as the chef. He or she keeps an eye on everything and is also responsible for tasting in the end.
Study the recipe together
Before getting stuck into the cooking, everybody should go through the recipe together. It also makes sense to let each of you do the job you are already especially good at.
Tidying up and washing the dishes are part of the job
Cleaning and tidying up in between helps ensure the kitchen does not descend into chaos. And if some groovy lounge music adds to the atmosphere, the evening in the kitchen will turn out a real party.
